Hi guys and welcome back!
Thank you to everyone who visited this site and for all the great words of encouragement.
I am so excited to share my next travel adventure with you! It didn’t take much convincing by my eldest daughter to join her on a little European trip. Within a couple of days, we have booked flights and started planning our itinerary. Its going to be just the two of us, so this is pretty easy, and after getting the logisitics sorted, ie, flights booked, hotel accommodation in areas we are keen to stay in, best transport between airports and the cities, the rest will be done on the fly. This will be more about walking around, and discovering great food, culture and everything the three different countries have to offer! We both love trying different types of food, so I am sure that street-food will be included in our daily eating habits as well as finding the best possible bottle of Chardonnay!!
This is the second time her and I are travelling overseas together. Our first trip was to Italy, which was our gift to her for her 21st birthday. We have gone on to do the same for our second daughter, and lastly our baby, who turns 21 in two years time, will also be offered this great opportunity. I will talk more about those wonderful trips with my girl’s in another blog, so do keep an eye out for that.
This trip we are going dutch, so I have had to be mindful, booking accommodation according to her budget – I may or may not have sneaked in one 4 star hotel along the way as a treat. All will be revealed when I share our trip on social media.
We leave in little over a months time – Mid May. This is a wonderful time to explore Europe if big crowds aren’t your thing. Being the shoulder season, accommodation definitely costs less than high season, and the weather would have started to warm up nicely.
Please let me know in comments below, (or on social media – my Instagram account is linked in the the top left hand side of this page, and you will find the link to facebook below), what you are keen on me sharing with you? I will upload a video of how to pack lightly (no hubby with to carry my bags) and what my essential toiletries and make-up are and which I can not live without. Also, you are welcome to hazard a guess as to the countries we will be visiting. I will definitely share details later.
thank you for reading
xx B
